After taking Osimhen last summer, Galatasaray still wants to fish in Serie A: the Turkish club is pressing for Paulo Dybalawhose contract expires at the end of the season but could leave the Giallorossi club six months early. At the moment no concrete proposals have arrived on Roma’s table, there have been contacts between Gala and the player’s agent to understand the feasibility of the operation.
ROME, DOMINO DYBALA: CHALLENGE TO JUVENTUS FOR RASPADORI
DYBALA CLAUSE, HOW IT WORKS AND WHEN IT TRIPS – A first exploratory survey, aware that Dybala has a release clause in his contract valid only in a certain period of the January transfer session: from 1 to 15 January La Joya can leave Roma facing a payment of 12 million euros. Exit clause but not only that, because on Dybala’s contract there is also another linked to automatic renewal: upon the Argentinian’s 14th appearance for at least 45 minutes, the extension will start until 2026 with an increase in salary which would reach up to 8 million euros including bonuses.
GALATASARAY’S OFFER FOR DYBALA – Many, too many for the budget of Roma who would like to find an alternative solution. For this reason, the Giallorossi were open to the sale of La Joya in the middle of the season: “If anyone comes forward we are ready to listen” said sporting director Ghisolfi before the Italian Cup match with Sampdoria. Considering the contract expires in June, Galatasaray’s idea is to offer the Giallorossi a small compensation to bring the player to Türkiye: there is talk of a maximum of 4 million euros, which would allow Roma to still make a capital gain.
