Is Roma aware that they can no longer be the same as they were in Como?
“Yes, we are not having a good championship and we are behind on our objectives. This gives even more importance to the cups. Tonight’s match is very important, we want to play with intensity and aggression, things we didn’t see in Como.”

The revolution in January? Is Dybala on the market?
“I have already said that on the market we want to improve the team in 2-3 positions, but as Ranieri said we don’t want to do something just to do. We have to be sure that whoever comes improves the team with mentality and quality. Dybala? It’s the beginning of the transfer market and the rumours, we know his importance for the team and his love for Roma, we will listen to him, but Paulo is very important for us at the moment.

Will the new coach be announced in the new year? Are you working on an Italian track given the difficulty of the moment or not?
“We won’t make an announcement on New Year’s Eve (laughs, ed.). We don’t want to wait six months, we want to anticipate but also take the time to make a good choice. We look at both Italians and foreigners but knowledge of Serie A will be an important factor for choice”.
