During the match between Monaco and PSG in Ligue 1, Gigio Donnarumma suffered a shock injury caused by a bad intervention by Singo.

The ex-Torino player ended up with the studs of his shoe on the face of the goalkeeper, who left the field a few minutes into the match, in the 22nd.

The match is currently at half-time, with the Parisians leading 1-0.

Donnarumma’s inconsistent performances put his renewal with PSG on hold

As reported by Rmc Sport:

Gianluigi Donnarumma’s contract extension seemed to be well underway a few months ago, but that is no longer the case. It was in September. Since then, the situation has evolved. According to our information, the negotiations are on standby after the extension proposal that was made a few months ago. The annual salary increase included in his current contract is not in line with Donnarumma’s performance, management believes; they don’t intend to increase his salary. Furthermore, Luis Enrique will have to clarify the goalkeeper situation. He recently put him in competition with Matvey Safonov and Arnau Tenas is also keen. The coach’s choices will therefore be important in Gigio’s future at PSG, as will his performances.
