Sergio Perez and Red Bull will part ways at the end of the season: the team’s official press release arrives
Sergio Perez is officially out of Formula 1: after the recent rumors, the press release arrives announcing the separation between the Mexican and Red Bull at the end of 2024.
The statement from Red Bull and Perez
After four incredible seasons together, Oracle Red Bull Racing and Sergio Pérez have decided to part ways. During this period, Checo played a crucial role in securing numerous Grand Prix victories, countless podiums and two World Constructors’ Championships, significantly contributing to the team’s most successful era in Formula 1.
Reflecting on his time with Red Bull Racing, Sergio said:
“I am incredibly grateful for the last four years with Red Bull Racing and for the opportunity to race with such an amazing team. Driving for Red Bull was an unforgettable experience, and I will always cherish the successes we achieved together. We’ve broken records, achieved amazing goals, and I’ve had the privilege of meeting so many incredible people along the way.
And Big thanks to every person on the teamfrom management, to engineers and mechanics; from catering, hospitality, cooking, marketing and communications, as well as everyone in Milton Keynes. I wish you all the best for the future.”

Perez OUT: who will replace him?
The French broadcaster Canal+ had already confirmed that the Mexican driver’s adventure in Red Bull has come to an endcon Lawson who will take his place alongside Max Verstappen.
