OL’s first Coupe de France match will take place without Lyon supporters.
The Northern prefecture has issued a prefectural decree to prohibit the presence of OL supporters near the Valenciennes stadium, where the 32nd final against Feignies Aulnoyes (N2) will take place.
“This prefectural decree prohibits parking and circulation around the Hainaut stadium, in the town of Marly and in the city center of Valenciennes, of any person claiming to be an Olympique Lyonnais supporter, between 2 p.m. and 11 p.m. , this Saturday, December 21“, it is specified.
The visitors’ sector will be closed for this match and Olympique Lyonnais recommends that its supporters not organize travel for the match scheduled for Saturday at 6 p.m.
We remember that the last trip by OL supporters to the Coupe de France ended in violent incidents. Clashes broke out with PSG supporters on the highway, at a toll booth, a few hours before the final of the competition which took place in Lille.
