The Artémisia Prize, sponsored this year by the writer and journalist Gilles Ratierwill be given at the beginning of January to a female comic book author. For now, the jury has announced the list of 20 works competing for the competition.

Founded by Jeanne Puchol, Chantal Montellier et Marie-Jo Bonnetthe Artémisia prize aims to highlight the production of female authors in comics, by rewarding a work produced by one or more women. Its name is a tribute to the Italian painter Artemisia Gentileschi. Every year, the winner is announced on January 9, the anniversary of the birth of Simone de Beauvoir.
This year, the jury chaired by Laurent Gervereauwas composed of Chantal Montellier, Julie Scheibling, Isabelle Beaumenay-Chaland, Patrick Gaumer, Pascal Guichard et Christophe Vilain.
