MANILA, Philippines – In a development that many expected, basketball prodigy JD Cagulangan wasted no time moving on after his recent success in the UAAP, refusing to sit on the sidelines for even a single day.
Following a memorable end to his collegiate career, complete with a second championship celebration at the famous UP Sunken Garden in Diliman, Quezon City, the talented point guard officially joined the Suwon KT Sonicboom on Monday, according to multiple sources that emerged on Tuesday December 17.
Although Cagulangan considered local leagues such as the MPBL and PBA, sources say he was keen to explore international opportunities that better suited his aspirations.
