Three accused instead of six

Six men were to be tried all week before the Vienne Assize Court. There will ultimately only be three. The other three were indicted for “destruction of the property of others by dangerous means”. But one of them found himself alone this Monday in court. His lawyer, appointed very recently, was not available and requested the dismissal. Faced with the impossibility of referring the entire case, the court decided to “disjoin” the trial. Thus, the three men will be tried at a later date. They will, however, be heard as witnesses during the week.
