Skydance launches a beefy update for Behemoth. Available on Quest, PSVR 2 and PC VR, this patch brings a veritable tsunami of fixes, including more than 1000 for Quest alone. There are also careful tweaks to satisfy adventurers on all platforms. We bring you all the details.
Behemoth is a fantasy action-adventure game from Skydance Games. The latest game update is now available on Quest, PSVR 2 and PC VR. The studio deployed this to respond to criticism of its combat systemdescribed as controversial by some of the players.
Indeed, if some appreciated le gameplay in its initial form, others expressed frustration with elements. We cite in particular the management of endurance, the difficulty of parries and dodging which is sometimes too demanding.
To provide a more accessible experience, the studio has adjusted these mechanisms. In particular, he introduced an optional “Freestyle” mode, which further limits the loss of stamina in combat. At the same time, it made other significant improvements: rebalancing enemies, adjusting the difficulty, enriching the tutorials and general improvement of the gameplay.
Behemoth: The update transforms the experience on Quest and PSVR 2
The Behemoth game on Quest is getting a real facelift with over 1,000 adjustments to pamper your eyes, your ears and your nerves. Behemoth bosses? No more bugs on this side.
If you're playing Quest 3, expect greener landscapes than ever before with boosted foliage textures and even sharper material resolution. Even the lighting was given a little spotlight, to make your adventures even more immersive, without these visual artifacts that sometimes appear in the decor. And for PS VR2 fans, big news: blood is finally red! No more unintentional gothic effect due to a small bug during the last patch.
Skydance Games doesn't stop there. The studio plans for 2025 the addition of an Arena 1.0 modecontinuous optimizations in terms of balancing and performance. We will also have some surprises intended to further enrich the gaming experience.
Note that Behemoth has already received a few updates, but none were as complete as this one.
