On Saturday, the young man who spoke with Inès was identified and arrested. He was interviewed as a witness and initially denied the facts. He was taken into custody at 8:45 p.m.
5:45 p.m. | Searches at the meeting place
On Saturday, searches were carried out near the place where Inès and her contact on SnapChat had arranged to meet. No video surveillance cameras were located in the area.

The next day, Saturday December 14, Inès’ mother and sister went to the central police station in Limoges to provide more information to investigators.
