It is in the sumptuous Pierrefitte room, in the heart of 93, that the Cameroonian diaspora gathered to celebrate excellence during the presentation of the Diaspocam Awards, an event organized by the tireless Franck Ebellé, the most Parisian of Cameroonians in terms of cultural promotion. This ceremony, marking the climax of the year 2024, took place under the aegis of the Cameroonian embassy in France represented by the first advisor and cultural officer Mr. Sylvestre Onana. At the microphone of this exceptional event, the lovely Amanda Bling Blinga woman with a golden voice, who captivated the audience with her charm and her talent as a host. His strong animation and energy gave the evening a liveliness that will remain engraved in memories.
The choice of location could not be more judicious: Pierrefitte, a discreet jewel on the outskirts of Paris, bastion of artists and entrepreneurs, opened its arms to a large audience. Seen from the sky, the room shone like a star in the night, reminiscent of the magical settings of Hollywood. At eye level, its charm is gradually revealed: a modest facade which nevertheless hides a sumptuous interior, a setting where elegance and splendor unite in perfect harmony.
To access this temple dedicated to the celebration, you had to take a red carpet worthy of major international ceremonies. This passage, a magical moment, led the guests into an abbey-like room, where the splendor of the decorations mingled with human warmth. Inside, the chairs draped in white gave the whole place the appearance of a sanctuary dedicated to beauty and recognition. As I said above, the evening opened with the inspiring words of Mr. Onana Sylvestre, representative of the ambassador. Addressing this dynamic and daring diaspora, he praised the collective effort while recalling the importance of carrying high the honor of Cameroon. His words resonated as a call to remain dignified and distinguished, to perpetuate the pride of a nation beyond borders. Then, the winners were called, one by one, to receive their distinctions, under the admiring gaze of a conquered assembly. Some were absent, but their symbolic presence was palpable in the emotion shared by all.
