The Ottawa Senators are back at home for the last time of 2024 and they will face the Pittsburgh Penguins tonight at 7 p.m. (ET). The Senators will also host their holiday celebrations during tonight’s game and fans are encouraged to bring toys to donate as part of the Toy Mountain campaign. Tickets for tonight’s game are available HERE!
Fans who cannot attend the game can watch it on TVA Sports 2 or Sportsnet One or listen to it live on the radio on Unique FM or TSN 1200.
The Senators will arrive with the wind in their sails after posting a 3-0 shutout victory over the Carolina Hurricanes last night in Raleigh. Goaltender Linus Ullmark recorded the shutout in front of the Senators net, his second of the season, stopping all 32 shots faced. Forward Shane Pinto scored twice for the Senators, while Nick Jensen scored for the second time this season. Jensen also collected an assist for a two-point night.
Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins are coming to town and all the games featuring number 87 promise to be exciting. Tonight’s will be no exception. The Penguins will try to sign a second victory in a row after winning very convincingly 9-2 against the Montreal Canadiens on Thursday.
Tonight’s game will be the first of three meetings between the Senators and Penguins this season. Last year, the two teams also met three times and the Senators won all three games.
As part of the Senators’ holiday celebrations, the Canadian Tire Center will be decorated in festive decor and fans will have the opportunity to take photos on the balcony at the entrance to Gate 1. Santa will even be in the stands, sharing the holiday spirit.
This is your last chance to see the Senators at home until next year, so get your tickets HERE before it’s too late!
