“Miss France 2025 is and will remain…“. This Sunday, December 15, 2024, at 12:47 a.m., TF1 viewers discovered the identity of Miss France 2025. After 3h30 of show, live from the Arena Futuroscope in Poitiers, Jean-Pierre Foucault and Sylvie Vartan, the president of the jury, announced the name of the big winner: Angélique Angarni-Filopon, Miss Martinique has become the new beauty queen of the French. At 34, she succeeds Eve Gilles, Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais who became Miss France 2024 twelve months ago.
“There is no age to make your dreams come true”
On the occasion of her portrait, the one who was elected to Fort-de-France confided: “I’m a flight attendant. My encounter with the world of Misses is not new. 13 years ago, I ran in this same election and finished first runner-up. I was 20 and I was content with that. And then, I returned to working life. But over time I learned the importance of perseverance”.
The thirty-year-old, who dreams of becoming a TV presenter, continued during her portrait broadcast on the front page: “When the competition decided to remove the age limit, I said to myself: “Angélique, why not?”. Thirteen years later, here I am! I want to show women what they are capable of achieving. There is no age to make your dreams come true!”.
You should know that this is the first time that a Miss Martinique has won the Miss France election. She came first in the jury votes and second for the public, ahead of Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais.
