The firefighters arrived in large numbers – there were around twenty firefighters – while the two occupants of the building had already gone out and were waiting for them. Using two water hoses, they quickly managed to control the flames. Better still, they even managed to prevent it from spreading to the adjoining house.
Despite their intervention, the two occupants had to be relocated by family members. And because of the toxic fumes and the various power cuts that had to be made before the intervention. Firefighters from the Péage-de-Roussillon, Vienne and Chanas barracks were called to this fire.
