18:30 CET – Over in Spain, Mallorca have moved up to fifth in LaLiga after a 2-1 win over Girona despite losing a man in the first half. The Islanders are having some season and largely going under the radar.

18:05 CET – It is all over around the grounds in the Premier League and where there was a lack of excitement at the Emirates as Arsenal were frustrated by Sean Dyche’s Everton in a dull 0-0 draw, 10-man Liverpool drew 2-2 with Fulham in a thrilling encounter from Anfield!
Liverpool did so well to rescue a point through a late Diogo Jota strike after Fulham made it hard for the league leaders throughout and weren’t happy to settle to for a point.
Elsewhere, Ipswich scored a dramatic late winner to heap more pressure on Wolves and Gary O’Neil and Newcastle thrashed Leicester 4-0 as they continue their resurgance.
17:43 CET – The final match of the day from the Premier League sees high-flying Nottingham Forest host Aston Villa who themselves are high off the back of a big win in the Champions League midweek. The big team news is Jhon Duran starts up top for the visitors with Ollie Watkins only fit enough to make the bench. Can the super sub make a name for himself from the start?

17:40 CET – Next up in Serie A sees another title challenger Napoli travel to Udinese with kick-off at 18:00 CET for that one.

17:25 CET – Well a big shift in the Bundesliga title race! Bayern Munich have lost against Mainz again in the league as Bayer Leverkusen cruised to victory away to Augsburg to close the gap to just four points. Another title race between Germany’s two strongest sides is heating up.

17:00 CET – Meanwhile it is half-time in the Premier League games and the headline is Fulham are leading 10-man Liverpool 1-0 after a smart finish from Andreas Pereira to stun the league leaders who also saw Andrew Robertson get sent off.
Elsewhere, Arsenal still have work to do to gain ground of the league leaders if Liverpool do indeed drop points as they remain level with Everton at the break.
16:50 CET – Atalanta have got the job done to beat Cagliari 1-0 thanks to a second half strike from forgotten man Nicolo Zaniolo. In a thrilling and tight title battle, it is vital to keep winning and Gian Piero Gasperini’s side are doing just that at the moment – that is 10 straight wins in Serie A.

16:35 CET – First up in Ligue 1 today, second-placed Marseille host fourth-placed Lille in a big game at the top end of the table from 17:00 CET.

16:18 CET – It is half-time in the early Bundesliga games as Bayer Leverkusen continue their return to form with a comfortable 2-0 lead away to Augsburg.
However, the league leaders Bayern are 1-0 down and in trouble against Mainz- a big half is coming up for Vincent Kompany’s men.

16:03 CET – It is all over in the first match of the day in LaLiga and it has finished goalless! It will feel like a missed opportunity for the high-flying Osasuna who failed to break down Espanyol who remain in the bottom three.

15:55 CET – Over to Serie A and perhaps Atalanta are suffering a setback in confidence after their defeat to Real Madrid midweek as they remain goalless at home to Cagliari at the break.
There is still time and you would still expect their attacking stars to find the cutting edge but work to do for the league leaders.
15:35 CET – It truly is a packed afternoon of football as, at the hour, four Premier League matches kick off!
League leaders Liverpool hosts Fulham while title contenders Arsenal face Everton. Newcastle and Wolves are also in action.
