Nagui and Leïla Kaddour-Boudadi present the “Bravos d’or”, a ceremony to reward the biggest popular successes.
TELEVISION – A ceremony that wants to differentiate itself from all the others. On January 1, 2025, Nagui and Leïla Kaddour-Boudadi will present the “Bravo d’or”, awards for the greatest popular successes of the past year. The 17 winners from various categories, ranging from radio to literature to record sales, will go on stage to receive their prizes. But a slight detail means that there will be no interminable or lengthy speech.
Indeed, they will not have a microphone. It is the hosts of the evening who will hold out theirs each time the winners want to speak. “It’s much more pleasant for the person who receives an award to answer Leïla’s questions or react with the audience rather than reading an already written speech”justifies Nagui who participated this Friday, December 12 in a presentation press conference. This allows you to avoid the traditional thank you speeches to loved ones. “And some were delighted with this format because they said they didn’t know what to say otherwise! »he adds.
The two presenters will therefore stay alongside the winners to discuss with them the success of their works. “There is no remitter or envelope. We are far from the Caesar ceremonial or celebrations of this kind”says Leïla Kaddour-Boudadi. And for good reason, the person who wins a Bravo d’or is not designated by a qualitative judgment but by objective criteria such as audience or number of entries. And Nagui insists on one point: “Being popular is not a bad word”.
An 18th special prize awarded during the evening
In total, there are 18 categories which will give rise to a trophy, including one which is carried out throughout the evening and whose winner will not go on stage.
Among them, we find cinema (A little something extra will be awarded), the musical, the concert, the export record, TV entertainment, the TV event, TV dramas (HPI of TF1 wins the prize) and platform, literature, podcasts (original and radio), web program, radio, comedy show, music streaming, theater play and record sales.
A category titled “Bravo Special of the Year 2024” is up for public voting. It allows spectators to designate, via the ceremony website, which personality has the most “shined” in 2024 among more than a hundred names. Voting, already open, will be possible until the day of the broadcast.
