The key topics of 2024
This year, two themes seem to have the lead: sport on one side and politics on the other. Thus, Euro 2024 and above all the Paris 2024 Olympic Games have largely dominated research, confirming the importance of sport in French culture. In another sporting category, the early legislative elections and the short period in power of Michel Barnier are also among the most searched topics.
In terms of personalities, you might not believe it but Michel Barnier (again) comes first, beating in this incredible order Kendji Girac, Kate Middleton, Gabriel Attal, then a regular on the podiums, Leon Marchand. Our multiple gold medalist is ahead of Teddy Riner, Imane Khelif, Lamine Yamal and Simone Biles.
In the category that we like to look at, those of the most sought-after recipes of 2024, the crepe no longer appears in the top 5 and is now lined up in the kitchen: Figatelli in the oven (frankly, it's still better on a wood fire or on the barbecue…), béchamel sauce, yogurt cake, trumpets of death or speculoos tiramisu.
