Meeting of parties at the Elysée: “feasts” to “share positions”, according to Le Pen
Marine Le Pen castigated “gaps to share positions” in the meeting of political forces Tuesday afternoon at the Elysée in which the National Rally and France Insoumise do not participate.
“Emmanuel Macron invited all the parties that could potentially participate in a government, he gives us in a way the medal of the opposition,” declared the leader of the RN deputies to a few journalists in the corridors of the National Assembly.
Recalling that the RN did not intend to participate in the government, she denounced “a form of contempt” for the head of state of whom she is “(her) honey”, calling for a Prime Minister “who respects all political forces” and takes into account “the red lines” of those “which weigh” on the National Assembly.
Ms. Le Pen associated the meeting at the Elysée of party and parliamentary group leaders with “parties where it is a matter of sharing positions”, and suggested “waiting two or three days to see this beautiful agreement”. “I am not at all sure that this government of this single party will really be able to get on its feet.”
