Well it must be the latest start to the season that I have been able to do but it was very good. 25 at pipay, 30 at 1800, maybe 40 at the top of the mountain slope (difficult to say a little wind and 0 visi), it was still snowing when we left.

Good powder on a slightly dense bottom, it won’t scrape the surface and the mataru, after seeing its 200 hikers pass by for the day, was completely passable without touching.

I did a little tour on the bottom of the gypaete/eterlou (I had to trace, inconceivable at 7 laux normally) it was very good, little affected by the wind.

Otherwise they cannoned like brutes at the bottom of the mataru and the return via the green one. There are walls of snow I’ve never seen so high on the cannons. On the bottom of mataru you can do an Olympic slopestyle there, no problem.

Come on, it should open quickly now!

Ski quality : 4/5

Weather report : the Skipass weather forecast predicts 1 centimeter of snow at the top of the slopes in the next 3 days, the total snowfall expected over the next 9 days is 3 centimeters. Check the Sept Laux weather forecast for the full report.
