Due to a security perimeter set up around the scene of the fire at the former Denuzière boarding school, the Cuire station on metro C is not served until Thursday December 12 inclusive.
Following the fatal fire at the former Denuzière boarding school in Caluire-et-Cuire (Lyon metropolis) on the night of Monday December 2 to Tuesday December 3, the Cuire metro station, located near the scene of the disaster, remains closed until Thursday December 12 inclusive.
Since the fire, the station has no longer been served due to the deployment of a sector security system. The latter allows the competent authorities to carry out the necessary work. The fire caused the death of one person and left two seriously injured.
Metro C continues to run on these four other stations, between Hôtel de Ville-Louis Pradel and Hénon.
To reach Cuire, “alternatives are available via bus line C13 from Hôtel de Ville-Louis Pradel and via bus line 33 from Hénon”, specifies Keolis Lyon, operator of the TCL network.
Traffic will resume normally on December 13 from the start of service at 4:30 a.m.
