US President-elect Donald Trump issued a harsh ultimatum on Monday, warning Hamas of unprecedented retaliation if hostages held in Gaza are not released before his inauguration on January 20. Trump’s fiery comments mark his most direct statement yet on the ongoing crisis, as tensions in the Middle East continue to escalate.
