After fluctuating throughout the last week of November, domestic fuel oil prices have stabilized for a few days, it is therefore necessary to take stock of the prices in force in .

This Tuesday, December 3, ordinary fuel oil is displayed at exactly 1.119 euros per liter, according to the specialized site Prixfioul.fr. As for the superior, it is sold on average at 1.138 euros per liter. Whether for ordinary or superior, the prices displayed this Tuesday are exactly the same levels as those observed since the end of the weekend.

For its part, the Fioulreduc site displays an average price of 1,110 euros per liter. According to this online comparator also, today's rate is practically the same as that observed for several days. Finally, on the Fioulmarket site, fuel oil is sold for 1,118 euros on average for a purchase of 1000 liters. Also on this platform, the daily price is the same as that observed during the day on Monday.

Where to find the cheapest domestic fuel oil in France this Tuesday?

According to the Fioulreduc.fr platform, which compares the prices of domestic fuel oil between regions, it is in Franche-Comté that we find the cheapest price in France today, with 1,070 euros on average for a purchase of 1000 liters. Conversely, it is in Auvergne that the price is the highest, with 1,136 euros for an order of 1000 liters. As such, the difference in prices between Franche-Comté and Auvergne amounts to 66 euros for a purchase of 1000 liters.

To understand this stagnation in domestic fuel prices in France, we must look at the oil markets. Because for several days, the prices of black gold have remained at the same levels, a stagnation which obviously impacts the domestic fuel oil market in France, because the two are directly linked.

According to the specialized site Prixdubaril, Brent from the North Sea is quoted at $72.34 this Sunday morning, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) is at $68.58 per barrel, i.e. prices similar to those observed in over the last few days. In the coming days, fuel oil prices could rise or fall again in the event that events disrupt the prices of black gold, so we will need to monitor developments in the market for this fuel closely.
