A fire broke out this Monday, December 2 at midday, in an apartment located rue du Fort Chevreuse in Troyes.
The fire, which started on the first floor of the building, quickly spread via the balcony.
The tenant of the apartment, a 50-year-old woman, was seriously injured.
When help arrived, she was in cardiac arrest and had to be resuscitated on site, before being transported to hospital in absolute emergency.
Her son, aged 16, was also present at the time of the fire, fortunately he was not injured.
The apartment was completely destroyed by the flames.
The victim and her son will have to be relocated by members of their family.
We currently do not know the origin of the incident.
