Two fires took place last night in the Northern province. One against the town hall of Poindimié which remains closed this Monday, the other in the town of Koné where the Contenair café was destroyed by flames.

The alert was given to the Poindimié firefighters during the night from Monday to Tuesday, around 3 a.m., for a fire which broke out in the offices of the town hall secretariat, in the village.

Although the disaster has been brought under control, the establishment remains closed to the public this Monday. The technical police and gendarmerie investigators are currently on site.

Furthermore, in the neighboring town of Koné, a business was the target of the flames. Around 12:30 a.m., firefighters intervened at the Contenair café, which was already completely engulfed in flames when they arrived on site. This snack bar was destroyed by the fire which required the deployment of four vehicles from the Koné barracks and Civil Security.
