HEARING REPORT – On the sixth day of the trial, the accused's statements were called into question both by the experts and by his former best friend, who denounced him after the tragedy.

A pair of hoop earrings. Headphones. A bunch of keys. A tube of gloss. Chewing gum. Some coins. A pair of glasses. A USB cable. So many small, initially banal objects, on which the Isère Assize Court nevertheless focused on this Monday, December 2, on the sixth day of the trial of Ludovic Bertin for the murder of Victorine Dartois. All these objects were in fact found near the body of the young girl, discovered on September 28, 2020. “semi-submerged” in an overflow of the Aillat stream, in the town of Roche (Isère). Below the body, criminal identification technicians also recovered the victim's jeans, “rolled up, inside out, belt, fly and button undone”. So many elements which led to the referral of Ludovic Bertin to justice for “murder preceded by attempted rape”.
