Zapping Autonews BMW i Vision Dee (2023): the electric car of the future presented at CES in Las Vegas

Times are tough for motorists and the start of the 49th of the 52 weeks of the year is off to a very bad start with two pieces of bad news. First, the ecological bonus is reduced from this Monday, going from a minimum of 4,000 euros to 2,000 euros, while its maximum amount fell from 7,000 euros to 4,000 euros.

A first bit of news that is not very pleasant for motorists, which could slow them down in their desire to buy an electric car. But at the same time, driving on thermal engines is becoming more and more expensive, as the price of fuel continues to rise relentlessly.

Gasoline is also on the rise

For the fourth consecutive week, the diesel price curve is moving upwards with a sharp increase of 1.7 cents over the last week. Diesel vital fluid reached 1.6417 euros per liter this week on average. This price represents an increase of five cents compared to the end of October and also reached higher peaks since the week of August 16, when diesel was priced at 1.6448 euros.

At the same time, gasoline is also continuing its rise, although much lighter than that of diesel. The liter of Unleaded 95 (E10) is priced at 1.7127 euros this week, an increase of less than a cent compared to last week (€1.7054). Note, however, that the monthly gasoline average in November was the highest since August.

The price of fuel this week in

  • Gazole : 1,6417€
  • SP 95 : 1,7127€
  • SP 98 : 1,816

To summarize

Bad news: the price of fuel continues to rise, week after week, with a fourth consecutive week of increase for diesel, which had not reached such a price since the week of August 16.
