This weekend there were three R3 derbies in Dordogne. Two were covered by “DL”. Boulazac B traveled to Sarlat to reassure himself after two defeats, and Thiviers was impatient to receive Sanilhac.
The Boulazacois, who were left with two defeats, traveled this Saturday evening to Sarlat, a team with two crushing home victories.
There was no observation round at the start of the game. It was a midfield duel with a lot of desire. But little by little the Sarladais got their foot on the ball and occupied the Périgourdin half of the field, showing themselves to be dangerous. After a foul at the entrance to the area, Thomas Lehoux hit the wall for the first time. The second, blocked, this time arrived at the feet of Luca Sutton alone at the far post. He adjusted the Boulazac goalkeeper (1-0, 18th).
A few minutes later, a ball lost 50m away allowed the Sarladais midfielder to send Lucas Sutton, strangely alone, into the depths. The attacker dribbled past the Boulazac goalkeeper to score a double (2-0, 34th).
Rémi Bost, the ESB goalkeeper, once again intervened on a nice shot from Lehoux. Boulazac almost came back just before the break. Timoté Rebière missed his face-to-face with goalkeeper Dimitri Malardier. The second act was less rich in opportunities. A Boulazac header from Mickael Soares on the post following a corner in the 85th and a final head-to-head match won by Rémi Bost against Thomas Lehoux in the 90th did not allow the score to change.
Precious victory for Thiviers
On her lawn, the Thiberian impatiently awaited the arrival of Sanilhac. The opportunity for Thiviers to perhaps take his first points. For the Sanilhacois, the objective was to return to success, the last and only dating back to October.
But, let it be said quickly, the meeting never reached the heights, with few actions which did not wake up the spectators present in the pretty Henri Hernandez stadium.
We had to wait until the 25th minute to see Florian Prugnard rush towards goal but irregularly stopped by Quentin Chatin in the position of last defender. The referee then showed the red card. Luca Da Silva's free kick headed for the top corner but it was without counting on Romain Jaly who flew away and deflected the ball. Abdoulaye Diallo inherited a ball 30m away, got the better of his defender and with a flat foot deceived the Sanilhacois goalkeeper (1-0, 42nd).
The second act came down to attack and defense. The Thiberians defending their meager advantage tooth and nail against the Sanilhacois who were too messy to worry them. The Thiberian thus obtained a precious victory.
