Since November 28, transporters can refuel at Gaz'up (Enerjump service stations) by paying with their Shell card. The two companies have in fact signed a partnership, which aims to densify the territorial network on the supply of biogas fuel.
Shell card holders can pay for their fuel at more than 2,480 service stations in France, including 271 on motorways. The shell brand, which has already signed partnerships with Leclerc, Avia and Esso, to name a few, has just added to this long list Enerjump, which has 26 distribution points in France and plans to open 8. new in 2025.
What does this agreement allow? This new offer reinforces accessibility to biogas for road hauliers, because the Gaz'up station network distributes liquefied bio-natural gas (bio-LNG) and compressed bio-natural gas (bio-CNG).
This collaboration strengthens the offer offered by the Shell card in terms of bio-NGV in France. It also allows Gaz'up to continue the deployment of its solution among professionals, thus democratizing the use of biogas.
« Enerjump offers a complete range of solutions adapted to the specific needs of carriers, shippers and territories, focusing on alternative technologies to the diesel engine, explains Arnaud Bilek, who is the co-founder and general director. This partnership with Shell offers carriers an additional way to make it easier to use our stations with a common goal: advancing the decarbonization of transportation ».
« The partnership we are establishing with Enerjump and the Gaz'up network is another step in our strategy aimed at facilitating access to more environmentally friendly fuels.reveals Michaël Littière, head of Shell's bio-LNG and biofuels business development in France. After the opening of eight LNG stations in France before 2025, in line with the objective we had set for ourselves, we continue to offer ever simpler solutions to accelerate the decarbonization of transport. ».
Green certified. Since the end of 2023, Gaz'up is the only network of public biogas stations for the transport of goods and passengers to obtain an official recognition certificate, from Bureau Veritas, for the 100% renewable origin of its biogas. This recognition allows network user carriers to include this approach in their own energy transition trajectory, as well as in their assessments and objectives.
