From November 13 on the Okoo platform and every Saturday at 7:35 a.m. and Wednesday at 8:00 a.m. on France 5 from November 30
The most famous of rabbits, Simon, hero of 3-6 year olds, puts on his Superrabbit costume again! Simon and his little group of friends take us into their world, that of their imaginary games, where anything is possible. A world where our heroes become superheroes and transform into Super Rabbit, Super Lou, Super Ferdi and Captain Rabbit.
In this new season Simon will discover the adorable Mamie Wolf, grandmother of the bad wolf and her little niece: Bonnie.
Adventure, humor and tenderness are there.
Note of intent from authors and producers:
For twenty years, Simon's albums have accompanied children in their discovery of the joys of reading. Since 2017, they have been able to find their hero on screen in the animated series on which we are working with enthusiasm and involvement.
In the first three seasons of Simon, we were in a very close adaptation of Stephanie Blake's books, exploring the daily lives of children. Then we worked on a new concept for a new series, Simon Superlapin, which also met its audience and allowed us to explore the power of the child's imagination, by diving into Simon's imagination when he plays at being a superhero.
Our intention is to continue this exploration in a second season of Simon Superlapin by enriching it with two new characters who nourish the comedy on the one hand, but above all, we hope, make the mechanics of the good guy-bad guy conflict less Manichean. .
When he falls into his world of imaginary games, Simon becomes Superrabbit and opposes the evil Professor Wolf, a modern evil wolf, more ridiculous than truly evil.
In this new season, arrives Mamie Wolf, Professor Wolf's grandmother. She is also a wolf, but she is adorable and caring. She doesn't know that her grandson wants to eat the little bunnies, and her grandson doesn't want her to know that he's not that nice! Children will also discover Bonnie, a little wolf, cousin of Professor Wolf, but who is a friend of the little rabbits.
Not all wolves are bad guys! Wickedness is not inevitable. No group can be stigmatized and declared evil or unsocial. In a world that is polarizing and in which oppositions are radicalizing, our intention is to convey a message of openness to others, wherever they come from. In an entertaining and child-friendly way, this is our intention for this second season of Simon Superrabbit.
Simon Superlapin, saison 2 :
A season always immersed in the imagination of children when they play at being superheroes. Where the bad guy is always the big bad wolf, but where not all wolves are bad: Professor Wolf's grandmother and little cousin turn out to be adorable and friendly characters. And the naughty Professor Wolf becomes very soft when his Granny is there, hilarious!
