“For a gray December day, it’s not bad”: even at the exhibition center, the old ones are a hit!

This Sunday, December 1st, the collection of classic cars that is Cévennes & Cars was forced to leave its usual site…

“When we tell them Capra, they follow…”notes a volunteer from Cévennes & Cars, the association organizing the eponymous monthly meeting for collector car enthusiasts. Thus, on the morning of this Sunday, December 1, everyone had an appointment at the Alès exhibition center since their usual meeting place, namely the fairground on avenue Jules-Guesde, is currently occupied by the party fairground.

And nearly 250 vehicles leaving the factory before 1999 made the trip. “For a gray December day, it’s not bad”indicates President Loïc Pérois. “And there are still new things.” “Even after six years of existence, there is renewal!”congratulates his companion.

See you in 2025, but… when and where?

The next Cévennes & Cars meeting is now scheduled for Sunday February 2 (there is never one in January). “On the Alès fairground”specifies Loïc Pérois. “Because, this time, we will not be bothered by the Star of Bessèges.” The cycling race will take place in town, in fact, the following weekend.
