Despite the business around Palworld, the Pokemon-like will continue to improve with a new patch very soon. We have the first images and details on this update.
Palworld, often called the “Pokemon with guns”, has not gone unnoticed, especially not in the eyes of Nintendo and those of The Pokémon Company. Faced with the tidal wave of independent games, the two Japanese companies filed a complaint for violation of patent rights. For its part, the studio has decided to counterattack with legal action, while Nintendo and The Pokémon Company are seeking an injunction against the game to block it and 5 million yen each in damages.
Palworld December 2024 update revealed
Pokemon Scarlet & Violet doesn’t particularly have to feel threatened, but the success of Palworld still seems to be at the origin of the complaint. This case will therefore be brought before the courts on both sides, but in the meantime, the Pocketpair studio is working on new content. A huge update is coming in December 2024 despite all the legal problems. It was via the Palworld X account that we were able to have the first details, but also captures.
« Survive on Palworld’s biggest, toughest and most mysterious new island. The size of this new island is approximately six times that of Sakurajima » indicates account pokémon Pals to chase. The tower seen in one of the photos is also intriguing. The studio will share further information in due course, but specifies that Palworld is benefiting from a 25% discount on some platforms. The game actually goes to 21,74€ instead of €28.99 on PS5 and PC via Steam. There is no discount on Xbox Series X|S, but the title is “free” for Xbox Game Pass subscribers.
