It was France 3 Grand Est which revealed it. A little girl from Chaumont was very seriously injured in a violent fire, Sunday November 24. The little girl did not survive.
An AirBnB accommodation located in Furdenheim (Bas-Rhin) fell prey to a violent fire on Sunday, November 24, shortly before 5 a.m., France 3 Grand Est revealed.
In a house converted into several apartments, a Chaumontese family had rented one for the weekend.
The 19 people who occupied the building had been evacuated by the firefighters, mobilized in force: there were 77 of them fighting the flames, reported France 3 Grand Est.
Which also indicated that the parents of the Chaumontese family would have been awakened by the smoke, and would have jumped out of the window with their youngest children. Their 10-year-old daughter would then have been in the attic.
The firefighters found her in cardio-respiratory arrest, and they managed to revive her, before evacuating her in a coma to the Hautepierre University Hospital in Strasbourg.
Alas, the little girl succumbed to her injuries.
