The alert was given at 4:24 a.m., this Wednesday, November 27, 2024. A fire broke out in an individual dwelling of 80 m2in Blaison-Saint-Sulpice (Maine-et-Loire), south-east of Angers.

Two people were injured in the fire, one seriously with facial burns. It concerns a 32-year-old man who suffered from smoke inhalation. A 31-year-old woman, who also suffered smoke inhalation, was also at the scene. The two tenants were transported to Angers University Hospital.

23 firefighters

The intervention mobilized 23 firefighters from four different rescue centers, including eight engines. The gendarmerie came to the site, as well as the Enedis teams.
