Yesterday Tuesday evening November 26, 2024 around 9:45 p.m. in the Villejean district. A Mercedes, with three hooded people on board, stops in front of a building located at 22, boulevard d'Anjou. A man exits the vehicle with a handgun and fires several shots at a 24-year-old man. He was hit by a bullet in the abdomen and another projectile stuck in the glass door of the building. The shooter immediately gets back into his vehicle which quickly flees.
The victim's family, alerted by the shooting, went outside. They are the ones who will directly transport the injured man to the emergency room of Rennes University Hospital. According to our information, his vital prognosis is in jeopardy. An investigation should be entrusted to the organized and specialized crime division (DCOS ex PJ).
A dark series of score-settling which has not ended in Rennes since the start of the school year. In total, this is the 17th violent settling of scores by gun or knife since this summer. Almost all of it concerns drug trafficking.
