Israel reports ten projectiles fired from Lebanon into its territory

The Israeli army announced on Tuesday that it had observed ten projectile attacks against the national territory from Lebanon, while the Israeli security cabinet was meeting to decide on a truce with Lebanese Hezbollah. After anti-war sirens air raids sounded in the Haifa Bay region (north), five projectiles coming from Lebanon were intercepted, said the army, which reported the detection, a few moments earlier, of five others projectiles in the Western Upper Galilee, some of which she said were also intercepted.

Following these attacks, the Israeli army carried out a strike on Kaakaïyé el-Snoubar (caza of Saïda) in South Lebanon, causing injuries, residents reported to our correspondent Mountasser.

The Israeli army issued two evacuation orders to residents of four buildings in the neighborhoods of Ras Beirut, Mazraa, Msaytbé and Zokak el-Blat, in the heart of the Lebanese capital, and to residents of Baalbeck and Qarnaba, concerning two buildings.

In Saida, urgent calls were made urging citizens to completely avoid Riyad el-Solh Street, with immediate effect, to protect their lives and the safety of their families, our correspondent in the south Mountasser Abdallah reported. Warning shots were fired into the air to keep people away from neighborhoods near the street, following threats made by the Israeli army targeting a specific building on Riyad al-Solh Street.
