PHOTO – Xavier Bertrand inseparable from his wife Vanessa: this intimate photo that says a lot

Xavier Bertrand can count on his wife’s support. This Monday, July 1, the LR president of Hauts-de-Seine was the guest of Gilles Bouleau in the JT of 20h on TF1. During his exchange with the journalist, the politician discussed the second round of the upcoming legislative elections this Sunday, July 7. On the set, the former Minister of Labor called for considering a provisional government and notably put Anne-Claire Coudray’s colleague in his place after one of his questions. Behind the scenes, Xavier Bertrand was able to count on the support of his wife, Vanessa Williot, present behind the cameras during his interview.

On her Instagram account, the wife of the 2027 presidential candidate shared a photo of the latter just before joining Gilles Bouleau on the set. We see the LR president of Hauts-de-Seine watching a small screen that broadcasts the news while in the background, we see the news presenter reading his cards. A photo that proves that Vanessa Williot is her husband’s greatest supporter.

Xavier Bertrand and Vanessa Williot: a look back at their love story

In 2014, the same year as his divorce from Emmanuelle Gontier, in Saint-Quentin, the town in Aisne where he was mayor from 2010 to 2016, Xavier Bertrand met Vanessa Williot, who worked at the Rivington consultancy firm. It was love at first sight between them and everything happened very quickly. An opposition municipal councillor in Saint-Amand-les-Eaux, she decided to resign from her political duties and moved to Saint-Quentin with her new partner. Four years later, the couple got married and shortly afterwards welcomed their first child together, a little boy named Lucas. A new happiness for the politician, as he confided in the columns of Paris Match in August 2021: “With her, I found my balance. We form a close couple and it is rare to spend a long time without each other.” In June 2023, the couple gave birth to a second child together, a little girl named Maïa. A beautiful love story that has lasted for ten years.
