Among the 19 winners crowned during this annual ceremony at the Folies Bergère, many artists such as Shaka Ponk, Jeanne Added and Etienne Daho were rewarded.

From the international artist Yamê, revelation of 2024, to the Justice duo, king of exports, the Society of Authors, Composers and Publishers (Sacem) awarded its annual Grand Prizes to 19 winners on Monday.

The Franco-Cameroonian rapper and singer Yamê, who has been on the path to success since the release of his title Bike in 2023, is awarded the Revelation Prize. He had already been crowned male revelation of the year at the last Victoires de la Musique.

Among the 19 winners crowned during this ceremony at the Folies Bergère in , Jeanne Added, currently on an acoustic piano-voice tour, won the song prize (creator-performer) and Fatoumata Diawara won the world music prize.

Air, Shaka Ponk and Etienne Daho rewarded

For her part, Meryl gleans that of urban music, a name contested by hip-hop artists for its pejorative dimension. The Martinican artist, who raps in Creole and French, released this year Caviar I, his first studio album, after multiple collaborations.

The rock prize was awarded to Shaka Ponk, an award which falls a few days before the end of the group, which made the decision to disband by virtue of its ecological convictions, after a farewell tour which will end Saturday in Paris.

The electro rock duo Air takes the electronic music prize and Justice, returns with Hyperdramais awarded the Sacem export repertoire prize. Proof of their international aura, Xavier de Rosnay and Gaspard Augé are also doubly nominated for the next American Grammy Awards, at the beginning of February.

The ceremony also awarded a special prize to Etienne Daho, a figure of French song with a career spanning more than 40 years. Shoot the stars at nighthis latest album released in 2023, was certified gold.
