In a long message published on his social networks, the outgoing deputy of Clermont-Liancourt-Nogent asks the person who arrived in front of him to renounce his candidacy for the second round, scheduled for Sunday, July 7.

“In this serious hour for our country, I am more determined than ever to uphold our values in the face of the rise of extremism. In our 7th constituency of Oise, I am indeed the only one who can block it au RN », assure Maxime Minot.
The high proportion of right-wing votes in our territory leaves no chance for the Popular Front candidate. A withdrawal on my part would automatically ensure a seat for the RN candidate in the National Assembly.

– Loïc Pen (NFP-PCF): 27.18% (qualified)
– Maxime Minot (LR): 21.52% (qualified)
– Ophélie Va, Elsuwe (Ensemble): 8.19%
– Agnès Dingival (Far left): 1.26%
– Florence Italiani (Reconquest!): 0.85%
– Thomas Mongiraud (Sovereignist Right): 0.57%
“A denial of reality,” replies Loïc Pen.
