A thirty-year-old man was stabbed to death in this weekend, in the Bourny district, according to our colleagues from Ouest-. The fatal attack occurred during the night from Saturday to Sunday, around 1:30 a.m., the Laval prosecutor confirmed to us. “His twin brother was also injured with a handgun butt to the face. Following this injury, he was treated by the Laval hospital center and was released a few hours later“, adds the magistrate.

The motive for the fatal attack remains unknown at this time.

But it still scares me a little.“In the building in which the victim resided, the residents are in shock. Most remember someone helpful and very kind, in the words of a neighbor.

Yves lives on the third floor. His kitchen window overlooks the square where the knife attack took place. The retiree often crossed paths with the victim and his twin brother while going to get his newspaper. “They were really nice. They didn't bother anyone. I am 85 years old, and the mother of these twins accompanied me to do my shopping, because I can no longer drive. She doesn't deserve this, dammit…“, testifies Yves.
