New world number ones in doubles in table tennis following their victory at the WTT Finals in Fukuoka, Alexis and Félix Lebrun have not yet finished their season.
They will have to hang on for a few more weeks to finish a historic season that seems to have no end. Olympic and European medals, a WTT tournament for Félix Lebrun in singles in Montpellier, another in doubles with his brother Alexis during the WTT Finals… The two Montpellier residents will remember this year 2024 for a very long time.

But it is not yet over, since there are still a few matches to play for both Lebrun brothers. After – all the same – a few days of rest this week, the two nuggets of French ping will go to Germany until December 10, for an internship with federal coach Nathanaël Molin, the Lebrun clan informed Free Midday.
Four matches with ANMTT by the end of the year
Félix and Alexis Lebrun will then play four matches with the Nîmes-Montpellier Alliance in less than ten days. First in the Champions League round of 16, with the reception of the Austrians by Felbermayr Wels on December 14 at 8 p.m. during the first leg, before a return match away on December 22 (4 p.m.), for what will be their last match of the year.
Between the two meetings, the ANMTT and the Lebrun will travel in Pro A to the Roanne field on December 17 where 5,000 people are expected in the local basketball club hall, the Halle André-Vacheresse. Before another championship match, at home this time, against C'Chartres on December 19.
After their trip to Austria, the Lebruns will take a break from December 23 to 27 for a (finally) well-deserved rest. Without knowing for the moment the precise program for the start of their 2025 season, in particular regarding their participation in the first tournament of the year at the WTT Star Contender in Doha. One thing is certain: Félix and Alexis Lebrun will obviously be there at the Singapore Grand Smash – the first Grand Slam tournament of the year – starting January 30.
