As part of the end of the school year outings, the parents’ association and the teaching staff organized on Tuesday June 25, a trip to Gironde to discover Bordeaux.
Accompanied and supervised by two teachers and four mothers from the APE, including the president Amélie Jolivar Moreau, forty students (24 CP and 16 CE1) were on the trip. The group left by TER from La Couronne station to reach the Gironde city, then the tram took them to the city center. The morning began with a guided, fun and participatory tour which allowed the students to discover Place Pey-Berland, cathedral, belfry, town hall and the Bordeaux coat of arms. Then head towards the ramparts, the Dijeaux gate, the Mollat bookstore, the Notre Dame de Bordeaux church to finish at the Grand Théâtre.
Take the tram again towards the Cité des Sciences, where the meal took place on the platforms, then guided tour of the dinosaur exhibition accompanied by fun workshops. To end this trip, a short visit to the water mirror at Place de la Bourse was necessary before heading back towards Bordeaux station via the TER which dropped off children and adults at the Charente departure point around 6 p.m. Please note that this outing benefited from a municipal subsidy.
