A 10-year-old girl is currently in a coma, following a fire in an Airbnb accommodation rented by her family near Strasbourg in Alsace.
A family with four children was woken up in the middle of the night, around 5 a.m., this Sunday, November 24, by a fire, which broke out in their Airbnb rental accommodation in Furdenheim, near Strasbourg. Three of the children were able to be evacuated at the first signs of a fire, but the fourth, a 10-year-old girl, who was sleeping in the attic found herself trapped in the smoke, says 20 minutes.

The intervention of the firefighters made it possible to rescue the child, who was in cardio-respiratory arrest upon their arrival. The victim was rushed to Strasbourg. Her heart was able to restart, but she is still in a coma, according to The Latest News from Alsace.
