Never two without three. After a vehicle was trapped in the water on Chemin de Préchamp last October 8, then another this Wednesday morning, it was a minibus which met the same fate this Thursday, shortly before 8 a.m. On board were nine people of Italian origin, who work as subcontractors at the Solvay factory.

The driver tried to take a shortcut to reach Dombasle and put himself in a very awkward position. Once again, firefighters from the Dombasle rescue center intervened and secured the occupants, whom they found blocked in the minibus on their arrival.

It seems that the barriers and prohibition signs are definitely not enough to dissuade drivers in a hurry from taking this route.

A reinforced dam was installed on each side of this path which connects Dombasle to Varangéville, passing behind the Solvay factory.
