National Day in Meaux (77): parade and fireworks on July 13, 2024

The city of Meaux invites you on July 13, 2024 for a spectacular fireworks display and a parade, on the occasion of the National Day!

The city of Meaux intends to celebrate the National Holiday like it should be ! This year, the municipality of Seine et Marne offers many activities for residents, to bring everyone together during this popular celebration. Meaux is the most populous town in the department, and is home to many centers of interest which tell the rich history of the town. Of the Gallo-Roman ramparts to the remains dating from the 13th century, passing by the numerous churches, THE private mansionsand the various curiosities of the city, there is plenty to make for exciting walks!

But what interests us, in this month of July, are the festivities organized for July 14. In order to commemorate the storming of the Bastille, the town invites its inhabitants on July 13, 2024 to attend a parade, a distribution of lanterns and a superb fireworks display!

Here is the programming

  • 7:00 p.m.: Review of the bodies (Place de l’Hôtel de Ville)
  • 10:00 p.m.: Lantern distribution (Place Sauvé Delanoue)
  • 10:30 p.m.: Departure of the torchlight procession (Place Sauvé Delanoue)
  • 11:00 p.m.: fireworks at the Jardin des Trinitaires

All these activities are accessible free !
