Here it all begins: from Sous le soleil to Plus belle la vie, who is Avy Marciano, the interpreter of Paul Garnier in the series? – News Series on TV

Newly arrived in the series “Here it all begins”, Paul Garnier is the central character of the new summer arc. He is played by Avy Marciano, a leading actor on the small screen.

The summer arc of the series Here It All Begins opened with a romance. Indeed, Rose (Vanessa Demouy) fell in love with a mysterious stranger she met at the Double A, to the point of agreeing to spend the summer with him, in his sublime villa. His name? Paul Garnier (Avy Marciano). As a result, the daughter of chef Auguste Armand (Francis Huster) is so in awe of him that she almost forgets her vigilance…

Paul Garnier, a charmer with two faces

In recent episodes of the hit daily, Paul made his relationship with Rose official with a kiss. Discreet about his private life, he introduced himself to her as an entrepreneur who made his fortune and is now quietly enjoying his wealth.

To fully experience the beginning of his romance with Rose, he offered to move into his villa and invite her friends and family. Rose therefore invited Constance (Sabine Perraud), Bérénice (Bérénice Tannenberg), and Carla (Aaricia Lemaire). But what he was far from imagining is that his girlfriend’s daughter was going to give him a hard time.

Indeed, Carla takes a dim view of his relationship with Rose. So, to take revenge, the young woman secretly invited Jasmine (Zoï Sévérin), Jim (Loan Becmont), Souleymane (Dembo Camilo) and Pénélope (Laurence Facelina) to spend the summer in the villa. Paul therefore had no choice but to accept them.

And if Carla is so suspicious, it’s because Paul is a very mysterious man. In the next episodes, he will reveal his true face to the viewer. Indeed, in a final scene. We will discover in particular that he has a secret room, a large office, in which there are several firearms.

So who is he really and why did he burst into Rose’s life? To find out, you’ll have to be patient. While waiting to learn more, we’ll tell you where you’ve already seen actor Avy Marciano, who plays this character full of secrets.

Avy Marciano, from Saint-Tropez to the Mistral

At 52, Avy Marciano already has a 27-year career behind him. And while his name may not ring a bell, his face is certainly familiar. And for good reason, this actor is a regular on television series.

It was in 1997 that TF1 viewers discovered his face. He played Samuel Devos, the partner of Caroline Drancourt (Adeline Blondieau) in the hit series Sous le soleil. A key role that he held for more than ten years, until the end of the series in 2008.

In the meantime, the French actor landed a few roles on the big screen, such as in the film Respiro by Emanuele Crialese, nominated for a César in 2004. Then the following year, he joined the cast of the dramatic comedy Cavalcade alongside Titoff, Marion Cotillard and Richard Bohringer.

In 2011, after a brief appearance in the series Commissaire Magellan and Strictement Platonique, Avy Marciano landed a major role in the iconic daily show on France 3: Plus belle la vie. He played the journalist Sacha Malkavian and companion of Luna Tores (Anne Décis) from seasons 7 to 18.

In addition to these two key characters who occupied more than twenty years of his career, he made numerous appearances in TV fictions well-known to viewers, such as Joséphine, ange gardien, Camping Paradis, Léo Matteï, Brigade des mineurs, and Profilage.

Television series, but also TV films, since Avy Marciano is also in the cast of Meurtres sur les îles du Frioul by director Sylvie Ayme (2021), and L’impasse by Delphine Lemoine (2022), but also feature films released in theaters, such as Numéro Une by Tonie Marshall, where he plays opposite actors Emmanuelle Devos, Suzanne Clément and Richard Berry.

A busy career for this television-loving actor, who has just obtained a main role in the summer arc of the series Here it all begins. Is his character likely to remain in everyday life or will he bow out at the end of the summer? To be continued!
