This Friday evening, the XV of France welcomes Argentina to the Stade de France for the last match of the Autumn Tour.
After winning against Japan then against the Blacks, Fabien Galthié's men will want to finish on a good note by completing a “Grand Slam”.
It remains to be seen whether the match can actually be played.
And for good reason, since Thursday, snow has been falling in Paris and the cold is freezing.
In fact, the thermometer should be negative during the meeting.
Moreover, 24 departments, including those of Île-de-France, remain on orange alert due to this freezing cold.
The French players were still able to train in the snow this Thursday at the Stade de France, and anticipate this cold which promises to be terrible.
However, Le Parisien indicates that the match will take place despite these difficult conditions.
Indeed, the Blues' match is absolutely not threatened.
Stade de France officials also assured that the pitch was heated and that the players therefore did not risk injury on a frozen pitch.
The last time a French team match could not take place was almost 13 years ago. In February 2012, the meeting between France and Ireland was postponed at the last minute due to frost at the Stade de France.
