Clearly, Stade Rennais has decided to downsize during this summer transfer window. After a generally bad season which led the Bretons to a disappointing 10th place, the time for change seems to have come. As proof, the club has already parted ways with Jeanuël Belocian (Bayer Leverkusen) for a check for 20 million euros, with Fabian Rieder (VFB Stuttgart) for 15 million euros and could lose Matthis Abline who seems to take over the management of FC Nantes. But obviously, Rennes has not finished seeing its players leave since Enzo Le Fée could take the direction of Italy.

Rennes wants €20 million for Le Fée

At least that’s what L’Équipe announced this Saturday, revealing an agreement reached between the French midfielder and AS Roma with a view to an arrival this summer. An initial offer of 15 million euros was even submitted before being refused by Stade Rennais. The Bretons are reportedly expecting at least €20 million to let go of the player they recruited for the same price from Lorient last summer. However, Rennes is not against his departure and does not want to keep a player against his will. As a reminder, Enzo Le Fée is coming off a 35-game season in which he provided five assists and failed to find the back of the net.

As a supporter of En Avant de Guingamp, the best of the Breton clubs, I prefer to meet Yannis Salibur, Cristophe Kerbrat or Jeremy Sorbon rather than Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi or Sergio Ramos.
