A61 motorway: traffic very disrupted between Toulouse and Narbonne due to three accidents

Three accidents took place on the A61 motorway, in the Bram sector, this Friday June 28 in the early afternoon. They cause very large disruptions to traffic in the Toulouse – Narbonne direction.

At 3:30 p.m., the traffic was even completely interrupted between the Bram and Carcassonne-Ouest exits.

An accident involving four vehicles

The main accident occurred around 2:30 p.m. It involved four vehicles which were traveling towards the Mediterranean. “These ended up everywhere across the two traffic lanes,” says Vinci Autoroutes.

The dealer also indicates that:One person was slightly injured. It was evacuated by firefighters.

A tow truck was dispatched to the scene. Shortly after 3:30 p.m., he was evacuating the last damaged vehicles. Traffic was therefore preparing to reopen.

Recommended outing in Castelnaudary

Before this accident, a traffic jam of about 13 kilometers was formed due in particular to two other accidents which occurred in the same sector.

Motorists are therefore invited to exit at Castelnaudary to take the secondary network to Carcassonne before then taking the A61 motorway.
