Six years after the death of Charles Aznavour, his son Mischa pays tribute to him during an exceptional film concert this Saturday at the Palais des Congrès. Many guests will be invited on stage to retrace the life of one of the most emblematic French artists.

He would have been a hundred years old in this year 2024. Charles Aznavour, an undisputed artist in the hearts of the French, will be celebrated next Saturday at the Palais des congrès de la Porte Maillot in . His son Misha Aznavour offers a film concert retracing the life of his father, through a mixture of rare visual and sound archives. Many guests such as Alain Chamfort and Thomas Dutronc will be present on stage to honor the memory of the Franco-Armenian. A show to discover, or rediscover the Aznavour legend.

An intimate dive into the singer's life

70 years of a career at the top of the bill, in images and songs, this is the promise of the Aznavour film concert. An intimate dive into the life of the Franco-Armenian singer, narrated by the voice of his son Mischa, artistic director of the show. It's going to be quite a spectacle with a lot of new images. When he filmed my mother at the very beginning of their marriage, images of him in Montmartre in the 50s…”, lists Mischa Aznavour.

To rock these images, 80 musicians will accompany the resurrected voice of Charles Aznavour to the rhythm of his greatest hits: We will see each other again one day or another, Die to love, Bohemia… But the show also focuses on Charles' acting career, which is less known to the general public. “He still has some interesting films like The Hatter's Ghost or Taxi to Tobrukwhere there is real acting work in it”, recalls Mischa Aznavour. The opportunity for spectators to rediscover the great Charles and to see Mr Aznavour again.
