The theater route (RD10) in Saint-Gilles was closed to traffic this Wednesday, following a vegetation fire. It was able to reopen around 1:30 p.m. after the intervention of the firefighters.
This Wednesday, November 20, mid-morning, a fire broke out below the theater road in Saint-Gilles (RD10), in the vegetation.
Flames and smoke were visible from the road. It was closed to traffic for a moment in both directions, between the Eperon roundabout and Chemin Summer, informs the Traffic Management Center. This was to allow the intervention of the firefighters. The police are also on site.
Traffic was reopened in the upward direction around 11:45 a.m., then completely around 1:30 p.m.
Two weeks ago, a vegetation fire had already affected the area, also causing the closure of the road. Dash 8 had been engaged at the scene. Six hectares of vegetation had been affected.
